Money Guardians can look after finances on a short-term and long-term basis
Short-term service:
- to bring finances back into a manageable position
- to sort out financial affairs when moving into residential care
- on behalf of relatives after a death
Longer-term service:
This tends to involve money handling, where we take responsibility for at least some of a client’s money due to their vulnerability, infirmity or advancing age.
- We can set up and receive regular payments from a client’s bank account
- or receive payments such as a pension or state benefit
- we then pay bills,
- And make investments
